Life can feel heavy at times.
When things get tough, the last thing most of us need is another person telling us to "pull our socks up" or just "get over it". Nor do we need that inner voice constantly whispering that we aren't good enough and need to try harder—especially when we are already running on empty.
At Zachary Listens, you won't find lectures about 5am wake-up calls, intense yoga routines, or forcing yourself to drink gallons of water.
If we’re lucky, we get around 4,000 weeks on this earth. We deserve to live them with as few regrets as possible, using our 1,440 minutes a day wisely. But how do we actually do that?
I’m Zachary Cooke, a therapist experienced in supporting men and women through bereavement, domestic abuse, trauma, and everyday emotional disquiet. After years of study, I know how hard life can feel—and I don't believe people in pain should have to spend huge sums of money, time, and energy on rigid self-help trends, only to end up feeling like a failure when they don't work.
That is why I created Zachary Listens—a completely free space to help you explore what makes life feel a little lighter.
Through my podcast and social media, we tackle real, honest topics. Some conversations touch on challenging subjects, but many will make you smile, offer comfort, and help you understand yourself and others a little better.
Find your thing, make informed life choices, and take life one step at a time.
